Meetings
School Council meetings at Humewood Community School are open to all parents and guardians of Humewood students. These meetings are engaging and highly informative, featuring the principal’s report on key issues and upcoming events, updates on council-led activities, and presentations from guest speakers.
Previous topics have included healthy lunch ideas, strategies for making math enjoyable for kids, and an overview of available school social work services. Meetings are a great opportunity for parents to ask questions, participate in discussions, and even suggest agenda items.
The School Council meets approximately 6 times each school year. All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and get involved!
Meetings take place in the Library between 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
